Funding Programmes relevant to EPPIC research (updated June 2003)
As of 14/03/03, an electronic proposal and submission system (EPSS) is now available
for some calls on CORDIS Framework 6 web site.

The scheme is the Government's principal mechanism for promoting partnership
in pre-competitive research between industry and the research base.

The Vision: The Basic Technology Research programme will contribute to the development
of a generic technology base that can be adapted to a diverse range of scientific
research problems and challenges spanning the interests of all the UK Research
Councils.
The primary emphasis of this programme is in developing enabling technology
which will allow advancements in scientific research.
